One Joshua tree, one night sky
Photographed around Joshua Tree, California, by Brenda Gunn
A single Joshua tree with a full, shaggy crown stands alone in the foreground, its trunk lit warm against a blue night sky dotted with stars. Desert hills and open, rocky ground stretch away behind it.
A lone Joshua tree under the stars is the picture most people carry home from the high desert. It is also the view behind the gift: look up from here and the Moon you see is the same one your crater sits on.
Name a real crater from this desert
Choose an unnamed crater on our lunar map and dedicate it to someone you love. The gift package is printed and packed here in Joshua Tree.
