Joshua trees under a sky full of stars

Photographed around Joshua Tree, California, by Brenda Gunn

The spiky crowns of several Joshua trees glow a warm red against a night sky crowded with stars. Low hills run along the bottom of the frame, dark against the deep blue above.

Nights like this are what The Joshua Tree Crater Company is built on. The same sky that holds these stars holds the Moon, and every crater dedicated through this site is named under it, from this desert.

Choose an unnamed crater on our lunar map and dedicate it to someone you love. The gift package is printed and packed here in Joshua Tree.
